did you see the baby sling in the christmas movie?

it seems that everywhere we look, we are seeing more and more women wearing

baby slings. in fact, we briefly saw a commercial for a christmas-themed movie where a group of people singing a christmas song included a woman with a baby in a sling. it flashed so quickly on the screen, i never caught which movie it actually was. if you know what it was, please let us know

Putting baby down without crying

i just got a call from a mother who recently started using a z'fina sling. she was ecstatic! for 3 weeks she had been trying to put her baby down. within minutes he would cry. she just wanted to get some things done around the house but using both arms to carry him, there was no way. she phoned her friend who is a nurse for some help. that was the first time she heard about baby-wearing and slings. it took about two days to get used to the sling - both her and her baby - and finally, it was really working out! that's what i love to hear :)

wow! it's great to see our baby slings in stores. they are doing well in Toronto at Kids at Home in the Beaches and Baby's Corner on College. this week, they'll be in Ottawa at Glebe Side Kids. other stores are coming soon...
